I'm thinking about playing this again after being away for more than a year. Is there any way to play the game on 1080p? And also I'm getting extreme lag when playing the game. I'v tried it using 1,2,3 and 4 cores but all of them lag. It shouldn't be my graphics card since it is more than capable of playing big title games on high/ultra. Drivers are also up to date.
Thanks,

AoS resolution problem.
Nah, this game isn't optimized for newer PCs and any resolution higher than 800x600, so lag is inevitable. And if you're running on Windows 8, then yes, it will lag a lot. I suggest you to look up topo's Windows 8 fix (provided that you own W8 of course). And to further improve framerate, look up BR's FPS increaser, which alters the game's font rendering (may fuck up the HUD though).

Isn't the resolution limit for Voxlap 1280x960? Use OpenSpades if you want 1920x1080.

I'v tried Openspades and another branch of Openspades but the resolution is still small. Iv never been able to get 1080p no matter what.
Does it really make a difference for you if you see blocks with 1024x768 or in HD?

Have you tried using the advanced settings of OpenSpades? Go to that by selecting the option in the in-game menu.
OpenSpades supports my native resolution of 2560x1440, so if you do everything right it should work at 1080p.

I knew a lot of people who are obsessed with 1080p and 60+ FPS, LeCom, and boy they aren't rare.
@corn99 Well, if OS and its forks don't sastify you then there nothing we can, or will do. Most of us aren't quality enthusiasts, so yeah.
